Parma, N.Y. - A 81-year-old woman died in a three-vehicle crash on Route 104 Thursday morning.

Monroe County Sheriff's Deputies say Doris Avel, 81, of Hilton was waiting to turn off Route 104 onto Hinkleyville Road at 9:30am Thursday. Investigators say an SUV driven by Lauren Parker, 19, rear-ended Anvel's car. The impact sent Anvil's vehicle into the path of a pickup truck, according to deputies.

Parker was cited for following too closely and failure to safely move from the lane.
