Nearly $5,000 Worth Of Marijuana Seized In Drug Bust

Albion, Orleans County - Two people are accused of running a marijuana and prescription drug operation in Albion.

Randy Wyant, Sr. and Janis Fitzwater were arrested following a three-month, multi-agency investigation.

Police seized about $4,800 high-grade marijuana, $2,500 worth of prescription drugs, three long guns and more than $3,000 in cash.

Wyant and Fitzwater face several drug charges and are being held on bail.

The investigation is still ongoing and police say more arrests and charges are pending.
