Dust-Cleaner Sniffers Drive in Wrong Lane, Crash

Canandaigua, N.Y. – After being arrested for reckless driving Wednesday, it was found that the two involved had been inhaling dust cleaner, according to the Ontario Co. Sheriff’s Office.

Amanda S. Comfort, 22, lost control of the car. Driving into oncoming traffic, she tussled with her passenger, Desiree M. Ector, over control of the steering wheel.

Ector, who was in the backseat, was taken to Geneva General with a small laceration to her eyebrow.

Comfort was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, reckless driving, reckless endangerment and petit larceny.

She’s in Ontario Co. Jail in Lieu of $1,000 cash bail.
