Rochester, N.Y. - Roughly 80 percent of 6 to 7 a.m. flights in Rochester, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Newark and Washington have been cancelled or delayed.

However, local airport authorities are optimistic about conditions improving through the morning. In fact, they’re figuring that most flights will be on schedule by 9 to 10 a.m.

Trailways and Greyhound have suspended service for early morning departures. Call ahead for the latest.

From 13WHAM Weather Authority: the snow is pushing eastward past Rochester  today… likely leaving 1 to 3 inches of additional snow on top of what fell overnight.

Overnight Thursday into Friday, the Rochester area may accumulate up to another inch of additional snow. Thursday’s high—around 28 or 29 degrees.

For closings and cancellations, check 13WHAM.COM’s Home Page.
