Parma, N.Y.- Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies say a woman in her eighties has died from her injuries after a crash on Route 104 Thursday morning.

Police say around 9:30 a.m. the female driver was heading westbound on Route 104 and waiting to turn left on Hinkleyville Road when she was struck from behind by an SUV.

Police say the collision forced the car into the eastbound lane where it was hit head-on by a pickup truck driven by a middle-aged male.

The elderly female driver was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where she later died. Her elderly female passenger was sent to Strong with serious injuries.

The 19-year-old male driver of the SUV was not hurt.

The driver of the pickup truck suffered minor injures and was transported to the hospital.

The victim's name has not been released.
