Rochester, N.Y. - Emeritus Bishop Clark of Rochester says he hopes Catholics around the world embrace Pope Francis in his new role.
"I hope he challenges our horizons...in that, you know, Eurocentric kind of mode." Clark said.
Clark also pointed out a common point between himself and Benedict XVI: both serve the Catholic Church in emeritus roles.
Clark joked that he is always available to advise Benedict in his new role.
