Rochester, N.Y. – House Majority Leader Eric Cantor was in town Tuesday morning, attending a fundraiser for congressional candidate Maggie Brooks at the Radisson Rochester Riverside.

Cantor said the House is meeting its goals, but it needs representatives like Brooks in Congress in order to work better with the Senate and the White House.

“We were going to tell the truth and that we were going to provide solutions to the problems that are facing this country,” he said. “We've lived up to that. We've not necessarily had a collaborative atmosphere between the House, the Senate and the White House. We're working to bring that to fruition this election.”
