(Geneva, N.Y.) -- On Monday morning, ABC's hit show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition surprised the Hill family of 148 William St. Geneva.

The team, headed by Ty Pennington and his designers, will renovate a 150-year-old house in seven days. 13WHAM News will follow the renovation and have live reports each weekday on 13WHAM News This Morning.

Tim Hill, an aspiring boxer, went back to college for a degree in social work after he broke his back. While working as a counselor for high-school age kids, he started the Geneva Boxing Team.

For over 10 years, Tim has been training kids 8 to 21 to box for free; he pays all expenses out of his pocket. Many of the kids are from broken and impoverished homes.

Tim was awarded custody of one of those kids, Aleem Whitfield. In addition to Aleem, Tim and his wife Michelle have three children of their own.

Pennington and the designers, Michael Moloney, Ed Sanders, John Littlefield, and Didiayer Snyder, are joined by local builder Mahoney Design & Build, Inc., and hundreds of volunteers and workers.

While their home is being rebuilt, the Hill family will go on vacation to Hilton Cancun Golf & Spa Resort.

For more information on the project, and how you can help, go to Mahoney Design and Build Gives.
