President Bill Clinton offered a vigorous defense of the American Care Act, the sweeping health care reform legislation passed by Congress and signed by President Obama. During his nominating speech at the Democratic National Convention, Clinton also ridiculed Congressman Paul Ryan for, as Clinton put it, "criticizing somebody for something you did." He was referring to Ryan's support for the $716 billion in cuts to Medicare service providers; Ryan is now criticizing those same cuts in the ACA.
