Fairport, N.Y. -
Fairport Canal Days kicks off Friday afternoon with over 300 vendors, live music, and family friendly activities.
A parade takes place at noon on Saturday, followed by a sculpture unveiling at Kennelly Park.
There will be a battle of the bands, artwork displays including performance painting, and all kinds of foods available from multiple vendors.
Last year's Canal Days drew thousands of people to the village.
The festival runs through Sunday.
