Perinton, N.Y. - A tree landing on a power line knocked out power for more than 3,000 RG&E customers Friday morning.
Around 8:45 a.m., a company spokesperson said the tree fell at Baird Road and Fairport Road to repair the problem.
Traffic was blocked off at Baird Road between Whitney Road and Fairport Road while power crews repair the problem.
As of 11am, 77 customers in East Rochester, 2,641 customers in Penfield, and 329 customers in Perinton are without power.
Crews are working to repair the problem.
