Batavia, N.Y. - A man from Batavia faces federal charges for endangering the welfare of a child.

The feds say 29-year-old Timothy Logsdon took a 16-year-old girl into Kentucky with the intent of having sex.

The girl's family contacted police who traced Logsdon's cell phone and arrested him.

He faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
