Byron, N.Y. -- No one was injured when an apartment house on West Main Street in Byron caught fire Sunday night.
The fire was discovered in a hallway just before 10 p.m. and was under control about a half hour later.
The house contained three apartments, and while everyone got out safely, they won't be able to live there for a while.
Damage was estimated at about $75,000.
Investigators say embers from a bonfire in the backyard may have started the fire.
