Rochester, N.Y. – The Rochester Fire Department Arson Task Force has charged a man with arson in connection to a fire at an apartment building earlier this month.

Keith A. Saddock of Rochester is accused of starting a fire at Southview Towers at 500 South Avenue in Rochester in the early morning hours of March 10.

Firefighters responded to the report of a fire on the building’s sixteenth floor around 12:40 a.m. An investigation conducted after the fire was put out determined that the blaze was intentionally set.

Saddock was arraigned Saturday morning in Rochester City Court.
