Firefighter Hurt Battling Dodge St. Fire

Rochester, N.Y. – The Rochester Fire Department responded to a call for a house fire at 224 Dodge Street around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

No one was home at the time of the fire.

The firefighters had it under control by 4:20 a.m.

One firefighter suffered a back injury, the extent of which is unknown at this time.

The house itself sustained heavy damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
