Rochester, N.Y. - One firefighter was hurt battling a fire Friday night in Rochester.

Crews were called to battle flames at a metal finishing factory on Jay Street near North Plymouth Avenue just after 10 p.m.

One firefighter suffered a back injury battling flames, and was rushed to the hospital.

Investigators said pallets behind the building were on fire, and that flames spread to the structure. Firefighters said they have not determined why the pallets were burning, but said they were able to extinguish flames quickly.
