Pavilion, N.Y. -  Firefighters responded to a house fire on Telephone Road in Pavilion Tuesday morning.

Firefighters say the father got his four children out safely by jumping out the window on the second floor.

The fire is believed to have started when a child accidentally knocked over a kerosene heater on the first floor.
