Five Hurt In Two-Car Crash In Rochester

Rochester, N.Y. - Five people were hurt in a two-car crash in Rochester Monday night.

Rochester Police said the driver of a sedan was trying to make a left turn onto Maplewood Avenue after 5:30 p.m., and crashed into a van near Lake Avenue.

Four people in the sedan, and the driver of the van were hurt and taken to the hospital. All five crash victims are expected to survive.

Roads in the area were closed for more than an hour, but have since reopened.

No tickets were issued in the crash.
