Rochester, N.Y. -  The voice of the Rochester Red Wings from 1962-1974 has passed away.

89 year old Joe Cullinane died in his sleep Friday night in Denver.

Cullinane broadcast more games than anyone in Red Wings’ history.

He left Rochester to join the Triple-A Denver broadcast team.

Cullinane also wrote a book titled "Face to Face with Sports Legends."
