Canandaigua, N.Y. - A former teacher at Canandaigua Academy appeared in court Wednesday morning.
Lisa Footer pleaded not guilty at her arraignment in Canandaigua City Court in Ontario County.
Footer is accused of having sexual contact with a 16-year-old student inside a car at a Canandaigua parking lot.
Police say other alleged encounters with the teen happened at Footer's home in Manchester.
Footer will also be arraigned Wednesday night in Manchester Town Court on additional charges of endangering the welfare of a child and sexual abuse.
