Rochester, N.Y. – The Fringe Festival will be back in Rochester this September, doubling in length, and determined to top last year’s creativity.
This year’s Fringe Festival will be held from September 19 to September 28.
“We more than doubled our estimated audience in our debut year – we were hoping for 15,000 and at least 33,000 came,” says Producer Erica Fee. “This year, we’re offering two weekends over ten days, which will enable more artists to participate and allow them to perform more often – something that they specifically asked for.”
Last year’s festival had more than 180 performances at more than 20 downtown venues, including the world-renowned aerial troupe, Bandaloop.
The Rochester Fringe Festival is aimed at connecting performers, venues, educational institutions, and the audience.
Details, headlines, and a complete schedule will be released at a later date.
