Rochester, N.Y.—For the first five years, Vickie Durfee and her group of volunteers and supporters wrapped gifts for military mothers and wives from her home. This year, a donation by the Farash Foundation gave the operation a new base - the fourth floor of 255 East Avenue. It’s plenty of room to for Full Circle Home to do its work providing free gift packages for military families for the holidays.

“They become the quiet heroes. They are all focused on the soldier, the heroes, they of forget about themselves,” explained Durfee.

Last spring, Durfee and her group traveled to Washington, D.C. to wrap gifts for Mother’s Day with First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden.

This year, they will head back to Washington to wrap gifts and bring dozens of them to families at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
