Mendon, N.Y. – To help raise money to finish the Mendon Library, Gary Lewis & the Playboys will play at the Mendon Golf Club, Saturday, February 11.
Library goals include the building of a children’s room, a teen area and a community meeting room.
To date, the library, which is part of the Monroe County Library System, has raised about $300,000 toward its private goal of $1 million.
Gary Lewis & the Playboys, a sixties rock group, was known for such hits as “This Diamond Ring,” “Sealed with a Kiss” and “Count Me In.”
