Geneva Police Seeking Robbery Suspect

Geneva, N.Y. -- Police are searching for a man they stole money from another man at an ATM in Geneva Friday morning.

Police say the 73-year-old victim was withdrawing money from a drive-thru ATM at the Five Star Bank on Hamilton Street when the suspect approached him and demanded money.

The suspect threatened that he had a weapon, but never displayed one.

After a brief struggle, the suspect grabbed some of the cash and fled on foot toward Hamilton Street. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as 5'7" to 5'9" with a medium build and was wearing a large winter coat with a red, black and grey checkered pattern.

The suspect was also wearing a light blue shirt, dark pants and tan work-style boots and possibly had a moustache.
