Rochester, N.Y. - The City of Rochester continued its Hispanic Heritage Month celebration by honoring grandparents Thursday night.
Puerto Rican music and a dinner were highlights of the Honoring Our Abuelitos event.
Organizers said the event is an important way to recognize the sacrifices grandparents have made.
Belen Colon was honored as the Grandparent of the Year for her contributions to the community.
