45 National Guardsmen Begin Journey To Afghanistan

Rochester, N.Y. – Forty-five locally based Army National Guardsmen begin their journey to Afghanistan Friday.

Members of the 169th General Support Aviation Battalion will say goodbye to their families in a ceremony at the Army Aviation Support Facility in Rochester.

They'll head to Fort Hood in Texas for post-mobilization training before shipping out overseas.
