I work in the building as well. Most of us in the building found out either from the news in the evening or this morning when the word was spreading around. That definitley makes me feel safe. The security in the building to me is a joke. I dont think an old lady walking with a cane is very fit to be a security guard for this building.

I left the building at 6:30 and came out from the back of the building through the parking ramp and saw the police had the street blocked off. They didnt say anything to me as I walked by. Clearly the building was not evacuated. Goes to show you how easy it is for someone to walk through the underground parking lot and get on the elevators. There is no security guard there. Just a parking attendant who Im pretty sure doesnt care. Ridiculous. I dont feel safe here at all...Secret Service in the building or not. They need Security guards who patrol the entire building and every floor that is occupied.

I was in the HSBC building, leaving work around 5:40 and hadn't heard anything about this until I was downstairs in the parking garage. I don't think they even evacuated or told anyone to stay on their floors.
