Rochester/Hamlin N.Y. – After the water was tested, the swimming beach at Hamlin Beach State Park was closed for today because of poor water quality.
The water will be tested again Wednesday morning, to determine if the beach can open then.
The New York Office of Parks and Recreation works in cooperation with the department of health in making these rulings.
