East Bloomfield, N.Y. - The situation involving hazardous materials where the body of a man was found in a car, has been confirmed to be a suicide.

In the car were two 5-gallon containers of a chemical mix causing a toxic vapor. The Sheriff’s Office believes the toxic substance might have been hydrogen sulfide.

The man has not yet been identified, although his age was given as 21.

There were no signs he of violence; there were no letters except for a brief note attached to the window of the car which was "a message warning people not to open the car due to some sort of release of toxic gas," said Ontario County Sheriff Phil Povero.
