(13WHAM-TV) - Starting next year, the beverage industry will roll out new vending machines that will display the calorie content before customers make a purchase.
The machines will also offer more drinks with fewer calories.
Coca-Cola Co., PepsiCo Inc., and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group Inc. are backing the new machines.
They will launch in Chicago and San Antonio municipal buildings in 2013, and then gradually be introduced nationwide.
