Rochester, N.Y. - The remains of Army Pfc. Theodore Glende arrived at Rochester's airport Friday morning.
Members of local law enforcement and the Patriot Guard took part in a procession, escorting Glende from the airport to a local funeral home.
Glende died last Friday when his unit was attacked with small-arms fire.
The McQuaid graduate married just recently.
Calling hours will be held Friday afternoon at Miller Funeral Homes. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 4.
