High Schoolers Learn About Construction By Building Houses

Rochester, N.Y. - A program that teaches Rochester students about the construction field is getting a boost.

Monroe County donated $35,000 to the "Get Ready For Life" program. Through this program, juniors and seniors get experience with construction by building houses alongside skilled trades people.

Unicon, Unions and Businesses United in Construction, runs the program.
