Penn Yan, N.Y. - In Yates County, a Penn Yan man is in jail after police say he led them on a chase.
Sheriff's deputies say 30-year-old John Northrup led them on a high speed chase early Sunday morning.
Northrup was charged with reckless endangerment, reckless driving, unlawfully fleeing a police officer, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, and 14 other violations.
Northrup will face the charges in court at a later date.
