Rochester, N.Y. - A shooting resulting from a break-in attempt in Rochester early Sunday sent two people to Strong Memorial Hospital.
Rochester Police said that the shooting occurred shortly before 5:00 a.m. at 51 High Street. They say a 28-year-old man was shot in his upper body, while a second victim was injured when one of the suspects hit him with the gun. None of the injuries are considered to be life-threatening.
Police said that the altercation occurred when the victims confronted at least two suspects as they attempted to break into the residence. Police have no suspects in custody at this time.
