LeRoy, N.Y. - An effort to keep Holy Family School open fell short of goals set by the Diocese of Buffalo.
The school was set to close. Officials from the Diocese of Buffalo said that Holy Family School could stay open if the school increased enrollment to 120 students, and raised $125,000.
A letter sent home to parents of Holy Family students on Friday said only 100 students were enrolled, and only $110,000 was raised by the Diocese's June 1 deadline.
The letter from Holy Family Prinicipal Kevin Robertson went on to read that the school's board of trustees would meet with Diocesan officials Monday night, for a decision on the school's future
