LeRoy, N.Y. - One community in Genesee County is waiting to hear if the school will be forced to close later this month.
The Catholic Diocese of Buffalo has not yet announced its decision for the Holy Family School. The rule was that if enrollment increased to 120 students and the school raised $125,000, it could remain open.
At its June 1 deadline, the Holy Family School fell 20 students and $15,000 short.
However, they are still holding out hope.
