(WHAM-TV) - A new report from U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development indicates the number of homeless veterans is falling.

The percentage of homeless veterans dropped about 7 percent as compared to last year.

The Obama administration has set a goal of eliminating homeless for veterans by the end of 2015.

However, additional elements of the study show that at the same time, the number of homeless families has risen, offsetting the overall number of homeless people in the U.S.
