Rochester, N.Y. – When police went to 190 Cottage Street at 12:40 a.m. Friday, they found Fitzgerald Dunham, 32, and his girlfriend, 29, had been arguing.

Police say the dispute got physical when Dunham cut the woman’s arm with a hunting knife, and stabbed her several times in the torso with a fork.

Police arrested Dunham. His girlfriend was taken to Strong Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Then, three hours later, the RFD responded for a house fire at same place--which was empty at the time.

The cause of that fire is still under investigation. There are no suspects in custody for that.
