Rochester, N.Y. - More than 400 supporters braved Friday's snowstorm to attend the annual HUGS Gala at the Rochester Plaza Hotel.
HUGS stands for Help Us Give Smiles.
Dr. Vito Quatela is the founder of the group. He has already completed over a dozen trips to help correct deformities in children in third world countries, and has three more trips planned for this year.
