The remnants of Sandy will continue to impact the region through the end of the week. .

The unsettled weather will persist as the remnant area of low pressure lingers across the region with more rain expected through the week.

The good news is 13WHAM meteorologists do not expect any significant widespread rain, so flooding does not appear to be a concern heading through this time period.

Drier weather returns in time for the upcoming weekend with the sun making a return.
