Long Island., N.Y. - Some people who spent days without power after Hurricane Sandy are angry now that their utility bills have arrived.

The charges are based on usage figures from the same period in 2011.

A spokesperson says adjusted bills will arrive later based on actual usage—and--all late payments will be waived.
