Rochester, N.Y. – The Rochester Public Market held an information session on several government and community services for immigrants Saturday.

Immigrants Connect 2012 helped show immigrants and small businesses what services are available to them.

Agencies included the New York Department of Labor, the Department of Health and the state Attorney General’s office, among others. They partnered with Mayor Tom Richards, Assemblyman David Gantt and City Council President Lovely Warren to organize the event.

There was also information about issues like disability assistance, taxation and social security.
