Rochester, N.Y. -The Ringling Brothers And Barnum & Bailey Circus kicks off its stay in Rochester on Wednesday, October 24, at 7 p.m.
The circus promises all kinds of power--horse-power, man-power, the power of beauty and grace and sheer athletic power.
Among the acts are strongmen who lift telephone poles and twirl them above their heads while acrobats balance on top.
There are animal trainers, high wire acts, and a troupe which jumps and flips on stilts.
Tickets start at $12 for children under the age of 12, and $25 for adults.
Performances run through Sunday night, October 27, at the Blue Cross Arena.
