Genesee County - A $100,000 grant will help train about 200 people for jobs in Batavia.

The Genesee County Economic Development Center will use the money to fund a joint training program with Genesee Community College that will prepare workers for jobs at nearby food processing companies and the Genesee Agri-Business Park.

The council says there's been a growing demand for trained workers in those fields.

The grant came from the National Fuel Gas Company.
