Rochester, N.Y. - Encouraging numbers were released by the state Labor Department Thursday.
So far this year, New York State has added nearly 103,000 jobs.
Looking at job growth from August 2011 to August of this year, Rochester led upstate - adding 8,300 jobs.
In the same period, Syracuse added 2,200 jobs, and the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area lost 400.
