New York, N.Y. - A bankruptcy judge delayed a request from Kodak in court Wednesday.

The company wants more time to work on its plan to emerge from bankruptcy.

The judge is expected to make a decision next month.

Kodak will be back in court in two weeks to ask a judge to end its medical benefits for retirees, as well as survivor benefits. Pensions would not be impacted by Kodak's upcoming request.
