Rochester, N.Y. - Some kids from New York City are getting a breath of fresh air in Rochester this summer.
The "Fresh Air Fund” brings inner city kids out to more rural areas such as Rochester.
It's exciting for children like 12-year-old Fatou Gay of Brooklyn, who was matched up with the Haney family of Macedon.
“Here's less stressful,” Fatou said. “Here's quieter. My mom isn't pecking at me all the time!”
“We're going to have pool parties, we're going to have picnics, we're going to Seabreeze and tonight we're going to a baseball game!” said Maddy Haney.
Thirty-five children from New York City are visiting local families in the area.
