Rochester, N.Y. – The film called “King’s Faith” tells the story of a teenager struggling to keep his faith under the pressure of a gang.

Rochester’s Faith Street Film Partners teamed up with Hope Lutheran Church to produce the film.

“We know this is an incredible vehicle to get (the Christian) message out and we wanted to be part of that and the message of the movie,” said Hope Church Pastor Kirk Dueker.

Friday, shooting was underway in Durand Eastman Park.

Both the actors and crew are local.

“Hundreds of volunteers from Hope Lutheran and other churches that are making this possible,” Dueker said.

Dueker and the film’s producers hope their film will hit the big screen across the country.
