Rochester, N.Y. - Former Kodak employees were honored Friday for their contributions in developing top secret spy satellites during the Cold War.

Photos taken with Kodak technology confirmed that the Soviet Union did not have more ICBMs than the United States.

Les Mitchell of Pittsford was a project manager at that time and says he didn't even tell his wife what he was doing, but told his team, "You can't tell people what you're doing, but you can be proud knowing that what you're doing is important to the national security of our nation."

The contributions came to light when the National Reconnaissance Office declassified two satellite programs.
