Irondequoit, N.Y. - Lane closures will resume Friday night as part of an ongoing construction project on the Bay Bridge.
All eastbound lanes will be closed starting at 8 p.m. Friday, until around 12 p.m. on Sunday.
Westbound traffic will also be reduced to two lanes between Friday night and Sunday afternoon. Detours will be posted.
New York's Department of Transportation is replacing joints on the bridge, at a cost of $14 million. The project is scheduled to be complete by November.
